Becoming Present With Your Breath.


When feelings of anxiety arise, this stops us from living in the present moment. Anxiety can be brought on by what we are thinking about coming up in the future, whether it is something happening in 5 mins, a week from now, or a year from now. Or possibly this feeling may be brought on by focusing about something in the past. Anxiety typically is felt in our hearts, chest, and sometimes stomach. When we choose not to be in the present moment we allow the anxiety to move through us, this energy then becomes trapped in our bodies, and can leave us feeling tense, tight, and just overall uncomfortable. Give yourself permission to be in the present moment when you have feelings such as this arise and choose to breathe. Breathe into the space that hurts or feels tight. Take time to allow your body to process your breath the way it deserves. Your breath is with you every moment of everyday, its the most powerful tool that lives in you. When you become detached from your body always come back to your breath, which will then return you back to the present moment. The present moment which you deserve to enjoy.
