With over twelve years’ experience in the mental health field, Brandi has a deep understanding and compassion for human suffering. In 2011, she established, Centennial Place, a government funded wellness centre in Mission, B.C., where it started her life long journey into learning, studying, and teaching yoga, mindfulness and meditation practices. During this time these practices would not only become the core of her own personal practice, but the way in which she supports others towards greater health and well-being.

Therefore, in Oct 2014, Brandi decided to continue to deepen her practice and completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher training, in Bali, Indonesia, through Yoga Works. Upon returning home, she completed an additional 60 hour certification in Therapeutic Yoga for Trauma & Emotional Well-Being, with Nicole Garcia, through Langara College in Vancouver, B.C.

In 2015, Brandi began the intensive training pathway in becoming a Certified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Teacher, through University of Massachusetts, Medical School, Centre for Mindfulness, home of the founder of MBSR program, Jon Kabat-Zinn, and has been under mentorship with Shannon Cluff, highly recognized, Yoga Teacher/Mentor in Vancouver, B.C.

In April 2016, she completed a meditation and mindfulness mentorship program with Michael Stone, renowned Teacher, Author, and Social Activist, and is currently working with one of his senior teachers, Rose Ricco for further mentorship in mindfulness and meditation practices.

Since 2014, Brandi has completed two, ten day silent meditation courses (Vipassana) and is schedule for a third in June 2016.

With a deep dedication to her own personal practice and journey of becoming awake for all the moments of her life, Brandi brings an authenticity to the classes she teaches in a loving and open hearted way.
