Founded by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn in 1979, the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program is an evidence based secular (nonreligious) intensive mindfulness meditation training program. The primary aim of the MBSR program is to support new ways of learning and being far beyond the completion of the program, and into the rest of one’s life.
