"THAW: Softening to our Relationship with our Bodies through Yoga".
To thaw is to melt, to allow what has become hard and brittle in our bodies and souls to dissolve and melt. It can also be a soft and gentle way to be friendly with our bodies.
Sometimes to thaw may be a gesture of letting go and releasing whatever has held us still, rigid, frozen. Other times to thaw may be a time to break open, to unveil the parts of us that have been kept hidden in order to grow. Sometimes it's both.
Come explore what it means to thaw, to soften and to emerge. To read more, click here.
We will be offering 6 yoga classes in addition to Saturday drop-in in the month of March.
Friday mornings at 9:30-10:45am, (March 2nd, 9th, 16th) and
Tuesday evenings at 7-8:15pm (March 6th, 13th, 20th).
(Taught by Carolyn)
All classes will be all levels, trauma-informed and the over-arching goal of each class, through the next 3 weeks will be to become curious about the dormant parts of us that want our awareness, parts that feel hard and brittle, and parts that have ease. There will be both strength-building as well as restorative throughout the practice.
We’re excited to offer these time slots in a drop-in format. Each class is $15. You are welcome to prepay and preregister by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Space is limited.
