Experience the nourishment that comes from prolonged silence and stillness in this half day mindfulness and meditation retreat. Instructions and guidance will be provided throughout the day on various meditative/contemplative practices including; walking, seated/lying down, and metta (loving-kindness), as well as prolonged periods of silence for deeper introspection. Time will be given before the end of the retreat to reflect and ask questions about the practice. Various props (including chairs) are available for use.
hat to bring: Bagged lunch/snacks/water and your preferred meditation cushion. Tea and light refreshments will be provided.

*Please note the cost of this retreat covers registration and rental costs. An option to offer Dana (donation) to the teacher at the end of the retreat will be available. Dana is the traditional way teachers have received support to continue to offer these teachings, and is based solely on what one feels they have received and can give graciously without regret. It can be given in the form or cash, cheque or Etransfer.
