Purple Light Nights is an event designed to remember the victims who lost their lives from domestic violence, support those who survived domestic violence and give hope to those who still live in abuse. As part of the weeks events, we will be hosting trauma informed yoga at The Reach Gallery on Thursday, October 18th. Trauma Informed Yoga

“Fraser Valley Purple Light Nights & The Reach presents Trauma Informed Yoga with Nicole Marcia, Carolyn Goossen, and Danielle Braun-Kauffman
Join us for an interactive lecture and yoga class that will look at the therapeutic application of the philosophy and practice of trauma informed yoga when working with trauma survivors. Participants will learn about safe, body-based, self-regulation techniquesto meet the needs of a wide variety of people to support their day to day functioning and long-term healing.
This training is suitable for anyone working with populations in need. All fitness levels welcome. Please bring your own mat as a limited amount will be supplied. Space is limited to 25 people.
